Welcome to Raja’s Rescue

FOR ANIMALS. FOR PEOPLE. FOR EARTH.

Raja’s Rescue is a simulated wildlife conservation and rehabilitation hub created as a realistic environment for data, operations, and systems thinking challenges. This fictional organization mirrors the complexity of real-world conservation centres—where animal care, visitor experience, fundraising, operations, and data systems all intersect in high-pressure, high-impact environments. It is designed as a living case study where messy data meets meaningful work.

About the Organization

Raja’s Rescue is a mid-sized wildlife conservation and rehabilitation centre dedicated to the care, recovery, and protection of animals affected by injury, displacement, and environmental disruption.

Each month, over 15,000 visitors experience the rescue and its 200+ animals. Behind the scenes, teams manage highly complex systems including:

  • Animal feeding and rehabilitation schedules

  • Veterinary records and treatment plans

  • Visitor ticketing and capacity management

  • Donation tracking and community engagement

  • Gift shop inventory and revenue systems

  • Marketing campaigns and social storytelling

  • Staff scheduling and volunteer coordination

While the mission is rooted in care and compassion, the operational reality is driven by data, coordination, and precision.

Our Purpose

Raja’s Rescue exists for three interconnected reasons:

For animals.

To provide hands-on care, rehabilitation, and long-term welfare for wildlife in need.

For people.

To connect communities and future generations with real wildlife experiences that build awareness, empathy, and responsibility.

For Earth.

To contribute to a broader understanding of conservation, ecosystems, and the shared responsibility of protecting the natural world.

The Reality Behind the Rescue

While visitors see well-cared-for animals and immersive experiences, the internal operations are far more complex.

Raja’s Rescue operates through multiple interconnected systems that often face real-world challenges such as:

  • Fragmented data across spreadsheets and platforms

  • Inconsistent reporting between departments

  • Duplicate or missing records in key systems

  • Manual processes across scheduling and tracking

  • Lack of centralized dashboards for decision-making

These challenges create the perfect environment for learning, experimentation, and transformation.
